My friend and I ordered delivery from here and man, it was good! The edge crust was very light and had excellent crunch and chew. It was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and extra mozzarella. The center of the pie was gooey and foldable. We both loved it and had plenty of leftovers. We each ate a cold piece the next morning. We couldn’t resist! They deliver themselves for less than $5, so you don’t get inflated Door Dash menu prices and large delivery charges. The driver was very nice too.
Ordered a cheese pizza for pickup on Monday for dinner. I was about 20 minutes away when I pulled in their parking lot. Always plenty of room to park for free. I paid when I got there and it was just getting sliced and was ready to go. After driving 20 minutes back home, the pizza was still hot and tasted delicious. I always have great food there whether it is a specialty pizza, custom ordered one, just ordering slices, salads, subs, etc. I have had it delivered sometimes to the hospital I work at and it arrives on time if not sooner ready to eat. Great folks that have worked there for decades take pride in their job and are always friendly and ready to help you with whatever you need. Burke St. Pizza in my opinion is the best pizza in the Triad. Stop by and get anything from the menu,it is worth your time.
As fine a slice of New York style pepperoni pizza as you'll get in town, and for many towns around. Sold by the slice, makes a perfect quick lunch for downtown workers or visitors. Also like that I could self-serve a Cheerwine - Mountain Dew suicide fountain drink. Bigger pies and other sandwiches and salad for dining in or takeout. BTW their garlic knots are a sin worth doing penance for.
This was my first time visiting Burke St pizza and it reminded me exactly like getting a slice from New York! which is really hard to find in Nc so I’m glad to have found a place that is walking distance. it has became my new go to place! and I hope to try all the different varieties of pizzas they offer here! definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a pizza place that replicates a slice of NY pizza!
Pizza is scrumptious. Lovely staff great environment for a Pepsi with ya kiddos or girls and a beer every once in a while from a great piyya joint. Been going here since I was in middle school never let down once. Always enthuziastic about good piyya.
