Phenomenal service and really tasty food. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive making for a very enjoyable experience. We got the breakfast burrito and the blue plate special, it was very good. Prices were also very reasonable. The blue plate was a little small but the burrito was huge. Highly recommend.
Was looking for a fresh quality breakfast and good coffee and was not disappointed đ everything was super fresh and tasty. Coffee is local and fresh roasted with amazing flavor (I drink it black). Ordered the breakfast burrito bowl, famous hashbrown (which was one of the best I've had), and delicious biscuit with jam. Highly recommend it's worth the trip!! It can get busy so you may want to arrive early.
I arrived at 8:18am on a Sunday morning to get breakfast on a date. This was my first time here and didnât expect it to be somewhat busy this early, considering they opened at 8am. We were sat promptly. Another staff brought us waters. Then a different staff told us they be right with us (in passing). The waiter, Eric, came back at 8:22am to introduce himself. My date wanted a mimosa but we were told no liquor before 10am on Sundays. We stayed with waters. We ordered around 8:25am ish. We both got the chicken and waffles with a biscuit and jam. We got the carrot slaw and pumpkin custard on the side. Our food arrived around 8:35am. My date stated: âThe chicken is the best, then the biscuit, then the waffleâ. They added, âThe waffle could be skippedâ and that their waffle âwasnât even warm.â They stated, âIt was so dry when I took a big bite, I almost chocked.â However, âThe chicken was very good; it was the star of the show.â My date noted âthey had good music tooâ. For me, I liked the waffle more than the biscuit. I like my biscuits soft and they were not. The jam was decent. It didnât stand out and Iâve had better. The waffles werenât as soft as I wouldâve liked and without syrup or pairings, the waffle tasted plain and not the best by itself. Iâm not a big pumpkin guy but I did try the pumpkin custard and it was fine. I would agree with my date that the chicken was really tasty, crispy, and seasoned. I was worried the pieces of chicken were going to be small, from the pictures I saw online, but they were actually decent in size. I noticed several parties with young children. They do have a kids menu. We finished and left a little after 9am. It had gotten very busy by then. Overall, it was a decent experience.
The Sage Mule delivers an exceptional breakfast experience with bold flavors and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Breakfast Burrito Bowl stands out with its savory chorizo, black beans, and roasted peppers, while the Western Style Sandwich takes a classic egg sandwich to the next level by wrapping a full omelet in a perfectly balanced bite. The lively atmosphere and attention to detail make The Sage Mule a must-visit spot for anyone in Greensboro looking to elevate their morning routine.
I recently dined at Sages Mule and ordered the biscuits and gravy, accompanied by sides of hash browns and scrambled eggs. Overall, the food was quite good, with the standout being the cinnamon roll, which was definitely a highlight of the meal. However, I found the prices to be quite outrageous. For just my wife and me, our breakfast totaled $30, and that didnât even include drinks. While I appreciate that quality can come at a cost, I believe the pricing could use some reconsideration to better align with the overall value offered. In summary, while the food quality was commendable, the high prices might deter potential customers. A more balanced pricing strategy could enhance the overall dining experience at Sages Mule.
